They have inherently violent teachings due to the time and place of their origin. In the desert of the Mid East, especially during that time, you fought for resources or you died. This is also perhaps why they are so male oriented.

The Abrahamic religions aren't "inherently violent."
Judaism violent? Aside from modern Israel, what great violence have they perpetrated in the past thousand or so years?
Christianity is inherently non-violent, although Western civilization has found violent uses for it. But there is the "turn the other cheek" thing.
Islam is only violent in certain populations, such as in the Middle East. But in many other countries, Islam is not a violent influence.

No, I believe that the Abrahamic religions teach peace but a small minority in those religions (numbering no more than 50,000 or so) do violent things. Then when they do violent things, the biased media focuses on them and makes everyone in the religion(s) look bad.
EDIT: Judy_r8, thanks for showing us all how stupid and ignorant you are when it comes to basic terminology in relgion. I wouldn't expect you to know this but Abrahamic religions are the three monotheistic religions being Islam, Judism, and Christianity. They all believe in one same God but they all get to God in different ways.
I think that humans are inherently violent. Think about it. When we didn't have Abrahamic religions, the world was at war just as bad. Then when we didn't have religion at all in some places, the Soviet Communists proved that you don't have to be religious to be violent. It's not faith that makes people violent, it's nature. It's greed and ignorance that makes people violent, not just beliefs. So, I believe (and I KNOW that I'm right when I say this) that if we didn't have religion at all, the world would still be just as violent if not worse.

an uncomplicated thanks to look after why Islam isn't an inherently violent faith might want to be to study the passages you've been given. 191 refers to a peace deal between Muhammad and a pagan tribe residing close by. Muhammad attacked the tribe once they broke the deal. it may also be efficient to talk cutting-edge activities the position you could discuss how maximum human beings of terrorists attacks are attacking different Muslims. you would possibly want to talk how this shows there are rifts interior the religion and how some human beings are basically making use of Islam to attain skill. also, you could argue that there are "violent" passages got here upon throughout the time of non secular scripture which includes contained in the Torah and the Bible Christianity and Judaism are literally not considered-with information from maximum- as violent religions.

Ask yourself this question. How many Jewish and Christian terrorists do you know of? Does Israel attack other countries or are they peaceful until they are attacked? Do Christians go around blowing themselves up so they can kill other people?
If you are honest with yourself, you will find Judaism and Christianity are peaceful ways of life. They are much more than a religion. Both are ways to live a life that is helpful to others and focused on God.

"Abrahamic Religions"?
What are you smoking?
Abraham didn't start any religions. God communicated to Abraham what he was going to do through the promised seed (of Isaac).
It's God that started the Judeo-Christian faith, not Abraham.
As for violence, you may not condone what God does, but you don't know what God knows.
Anybody God killed must have needed killin' real bad because:
Ezek 33:11
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live:

Abrahamic religions meaning all religions that follow the descendants of Abraham ( for Judy )
since they all spin from the old testament and the God of that testament seems quite wrathful and vengeful ... yes i am sure that many of the old laws still make an impact of the religions of today
