I am recently divorced (40 years old, male) and have no single friends to hang out with, I feel I need to get out and meet women, really not sure what kinda bar to go to if I decided to go out alone? Help!!

it's weird but you can work around it. one of my other friends likes to go out by himself and this is what he does. goes to bars that sells pitchers and sits next to other groups of guys and asks if they want some beer. and then just joins them. and then they usually end up meeting girls together. kinda odd but it seems to work. he does it all the time.

No, it's not wierd to go to the bar by yourself! If your friends can't get out (or don't want to ask permission from their spouse) they will envy you for going out and having a great time! Try a sports bar in your area, especially during a big game. Then you can find something in common with the people there and have something to talk about! Have fun!

It's not weird but, its also not a good place to meet women. Don't any of your friends have anyone they could hook you up with? If you do go to a bar by yourself just be careful, there are alot of "users" out there who will talk to you to get you to buy drinks and then leave. good luck.

A bar is the ideal place to find a drinking partner. Look for a mate elsewhere. You might find one in a bar, but you'd have better luck someplace else.

Its not weird, I don't like going to bars , but if you are going to meet women go to the yuppie bars like applebees , places like that

i never married but i go to bars and sit at the counter or go sit by a table by myself if someone is interested in you it makes it easier for them to come up to you and start talking
