time to see a doctor

2007-01-13 11:38:38 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Well, there are all kinds of potential causes...it could be something as simple as a hemorrhoid or an anal fissure or a bleeding diverticulum...and yes, possibly cancer. The only way you can know for sure is to go to a doctor and have him evaluate it.

Make an appointment and put your mind at rest.

Very unlikely that it is cancer. It is probably hemorrhoids and a change in diet could easily fix it. If you have other symptoms, it could be something more serious. Go see your doctor or go to walk in clinic. They see this all the time and there's no need to be embarrassed. It's the only way to find out if it's something serious.

I'm a nurse. You need to see a doctor, it could be from a GI bleed or hemorrhoids. Either way you need to know what is going on with you. Don't worry you will be OK. Take care.

You need to have it checked by a physician immediately. You may just have a hemmoroid, or it could be something more severe.

Don't wait. go see a doctor.
