how do you know if a guy likes you?

Examine his body language. If he likes you, you will see that his body position will lean forward toward you.
Keep close. Ever get the feeling that somebody is "in" your personal space - so much so that you want to step back? If he likes you, and you like him, neither of you will step back.
Make eye contact. If he likes you, he'll get it and hold it. Again, this can be uncomfortable if you don't like him or vice versa. You'll know if you feel like you have held eye contact just a fraction of a second longer than you would with anyone else, or if he looks away quickly.
Be aware of touching. He might put his hand on your arm when he laughs, or not move his leg if it happens to touch yours. This is a very good sign that he likes you.
Keep an eye out. His pupils will dilate (get bigger) if he likes you, but this is quite hard to pick up on, and you might look a bit weird looking that closely into his eyes.
Watch for him showing interest in things you like and do.
Joke freely. Does he laugh, even if you aren't funny?
Check for signs of nervousness: nervous laughter, sweaty palms, fidgeting, etc. Unless he's scared of public speaking and is about to make a presentation, it just might be that he's nervous about making an impression on someone he fancies (hopefully you).
Smile. A big smile in return probably means the feeling is mutual.
See if he always end up in the same part of the room as you. Perhaps he keeps going out of his way to bump into you.
Pay attention to his friends. If they know he's interested in you, they might tease him subtly when you're around, hint to you that he likes you, or even try to find out if you like him.

Heh, I'd like to know myself. My boyfriend snuck up on me and surprised me by asked me to go to the school dance. Before that, me mostly started hanging around with me a little more than usual. If that someone gets too clingy though, it may be a sign of total obsession.

well if you allready know them then thats easy they will look at you alot talk toyou more than useual and be very nice you willnotice that they will start hanging around you more often, if its for when your out and you dont know them then look for eye contact, a smile they will be looking at you alot and you will just know if you think someone likes you and you like them but your not sure then just smile at them and when you get the chance (which you will if they def do like you) then just start talking and go with the flow. dont worry about it to much you will find some one and more then often they will come to you!!!! good luck!!!

well i wouldnt consider myself experienced in guys but i do know how to tell if he likes u....if he does random nice things for u, if he gets all stutter-y and nervious-like.....also theres the guy where he likes to tease you and be mean and whatever but a lot of guys do that cus they like u

You just know! They call you, stare at you when you are in the room. They offer to help you with things. They may show up somewhere if they know you are going to be there. It is obvious - especially from the stare...

he always looks at you... sometimes they just take glances. i make effort to see you, or to ask your friends infos about you! sometimes guys are shy to show their feelings so sometimes it takes courage to tell your guy in a way that he will understand. sometimes give them clues that you like them to so that they will see the chance that they can court you.
