bi polar is a very disruptive disorder. money problems and inappropriate behavior can be devastating. if she has a diagnosis, that would imply she has a doctor. she needs medication to help bring down that manic behavior. one way or another, she needs to see a doctor or clinic or something to get her meds under control. Yes, it can take a long time to get straightend out. i'm bipolar, i take seroquel ( a LOT of it) to keeep my manic behavor under control. it works very well for me. i dont suppose that answered your question. but at least know that you're not alone.

I really don't see how spilling food on herself and not cleaning it right away is financially draining. Embarrasing, sure. But your question isn't phrased well enough (or maybe I just can't read well enough) for me to understand. If she's bipolar, she needs to see a doctor who can prescribe a good treatment option. It usually takes a while (read: years) for people to find something that works. Good luck!

There are free medical centers out there, your doctor can give you free samples of medications if money is an issue talk to your doctor and talk to your wife maybe its also time you start looking for a better paying job, I hope you find the problem to your solutions give your doctor a call and tell them if theres anything they can do to help with the costs my doctor used to give me a big lot of free samples of my medication that would last me a month and tell me to come back when I'm out it really helped money wise

You married for better or worse. You also knew her before marriage, right? So, now you have to deal with the worse part in the vows.
Get her the help she needs, search until you find it. Don't give up. She deserves to have a life, don't you think? The poor thing didn't ask for this to happen to her, she has a problem that needs to be treated, properly.

Call your local emergency room, police department, etc. and ask them where you can bring her. The free and sliding scale clinics are not usually advertised but the ER and cops know where they are. Every state has them--and usually they have at least small branches in the smaller cities/towns.

Call your local department of Social Services. They should be able to refer you to any mental health programs in your area and many of them are income based so that should help alot.
