Nothing wrong with being with your friend. If you like him go for it.
I dated other women at the same time i was getting over a divorce, it's hard to just forget the ex's but you gotta move on.
One suggestion is this, don't talk about your ex boyfriend while you are seeing any other guy, they don't like hearing about ex boy friends.

I think you definitely need to be single for awhile. Take a breather, see what happens w/ your friend. Not as a couple but as a potential couple. Otherwise, he would end up being a rebound, and then you would not only lose a new boyfriend, but an old friend as well.

Your not saying your going to sleep with this guy. Why not hang out with him if you like him. You never know he might be the right guy for you. If nothing else it will help occupy some of your time and hopefully take your mind off the feeling of your breakup.

If u are not over your ex then don't go out with anyone else, u would be just using them, and that is not fair. Stay single until u are ready to mingle. Good luck.

i would say dont start anything you arent ready for...if you know your not over your ex...then you definately do not want to hurt your friend...if you are at all interested in him then take it slow and make sure your ready if you decide to be in a relationship with him. dont jump into anything that would ruin your friendship or hurt either of you.

okay... your friend is still a friend right? so he wouldnt mind if you told him that you were sorry but you just got over a relationship and you aren't ready for a new one. when you are ready, you'll let him know and give him a chance then.... it wasnt reall yconfusing and the first person who answered got it wrong...

go out with your friend as FRIENDS!! you may end up getting together later. but make sure he knows it is just FRIENDS for now. you need a sholder to cry on. he will either show you how comforting he can be or he will be a loser. and you will know if it is a good thing or not.
