I'm thinking that you mean gastric and yes, it's anything pertaining to the stomach.
Gastrointestinal means pertaining to the stomach and intestines.
The gastrointestinal tract (also called the alimentary tract) is the region that includes the mouth, esophagus, stomach, intestines, rectum and anus.
