i got my spacers and getting the braces 5 days from now. does having braces sucks? yes or no. does it makes people look ugly? .. :)

i just got my braces on five days ago... braces kinda suck because they hurt for a few days when you get them on... also i heard that everytime you get htem tighnted it hurts. but otherwise you cant really feel them and they wont bother you that much... and nope they dont make people look ugly. i used to have a super thin top lip, and now that i have braces my lip has become a little bigger and i look alot priettier now!

No, you've got it all wrong! Wearing braces is considered cool now. Get with the times this is 2007. A beautiful smile (eventually) is greatly appreciated. Braced is but a small price to pay.

its perfectly ok to have braces. id rather have braces for 3 years than have a messed up setting of teeth for the rest of my life.

I had them for 5 years...they are an expensive, sometimes painful adventure that is ABSOLUTELY worth the investment of time and money. Take good care of them, do what the orthodontist tells you and it'll all be worth it.

well I didnt suck for me but it has for my friends it usually does'nt make someone look uglier but who knows. Well it sounds like your gonna have to deal with it anyway hope I helped.
