Your sister will be worried too. She might be afraid you'll get hurt on this and will try to dissuade you. Just tell her you know what you're doing and if you want to go out with someone, it's your choice.

It's great that you guys are so concerned about each other. It's always nice to know that you have someone to talk to when you need it. On the other hand, I firmly believe that people that really care about you want what is best for you. And really in the long run the only one that can judge that is you. I'm sure you learned a lot from your last break-up so hopefully this relationship will go much better!!

U r not the protective one. U r the one being protected. Look if your sister really loves u there is nothing she can say but If it makes u happy then it makes me happy just be carefull. There really is no other answer it is your life u r the one who suffers the most pain when u screw up and u r the one who feels the best when u get it right. So do what makes u happy and that should make yer family happy.

just tell her-go out to dinner or lunch maybe a nice dinner at home and tell her before she finds out from someone else
let her know that you love her but this is about you and you would appreciate her support
most guys-no matter what the circumstances wouldnt care what their sister thought so i think this is sweet of you
I hope this helps
if she knows the girl and doesnt care for or like her tell her to give her a break because you do and hopefully she will because she loves you

Yep...tooooo protective...life needs healthy boundaries...it is wonderful that you love her...but without boundaries...you are never going to be able to have a healthy relationship with another woman....I can tell you from being a mom...this is not what your mom would want for you...From the moment you were placed in her arms...her desire for you was for you to grow into a wonderful man and someday to have a woman to love you as much as she did....It is nice that you support and love your sister...but she is your sister...not your significant other...good luck.

Your sister is a female, and can handle more than you give her credit for:) I'm really sorry about your mom..that really stinks..
Don't leave your sister out when you go on your outings with your new GF...bring her along...sounds like it would be fun to do group things...

I think you're just a little too worried, but i think that's sweet. Just flat out tell your sister about your new girlfriend and see how she takes it. Maybe you're just overreacting about how she'll react. Good luck!!!!

your sister is going to have to learn that it is your life and you are going to live it howevere you choose too... she may not like it but really it is none of her business...not being rude by no means.
She can still love you and be close to you no matter who you are with.
