Yes, as long as the train is shorter than 18 ft.

Explanation:

The train is going 88 ft/sec which makes it 0.0681 seconds before beginning to cross the "level crossing".

Traveling at 22 ft/sec, the man would begin to cross in 0.2727 seconds.

That leaves a gap of 0.2045 seconds between the beginning of each crossing. At 88 ft/sec, 18 ft of train could pass through during that time.

It took a lot of "thinking beers" to come to my answer. I decided that the man had put a ramp in front of the level crossing and jumped the train.

So he does get across, but hits the ground wrong and loses control and goes straight into the path of an oncoming wagon.

the train passes well before the man reaches so the man crosses after the train?

the man won't get across because the barriers are down and the wee bells r going off?

No. There's not enough of him left to be worthwhile digging a grave and putting a cross on it for, what is left of him is scraped off the line and cremated and he gets a little plate with his name and RIP on it.

If its a short train he will. But he will anyway cos when he gets a bit closer, hell have to get off his bike and lift up the barrier.

yes, he makes it across, but after the train, he is going to slow.

yeah, he either was on a different level crossing, or the train made it way before him, so he didn't get hurt.

if he hits the barrier then no he doesnt get hit simple
if he goes round it then he wont get in front of the train and hitting it depends on the amount of carriages its pulling
