It is a federal holiday Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. So post offices, govt offices, many schools are off. However it may not be a public holiday locally and you still to feed parking meters as you would on any other Monday. Most people still have to work.

Well, I don't have work, because I work at a school, but my sibling does have work and she workds at a grocerty store, and my bf has work he works at a light store, my other siblings have work they work at a hospital. Som places recognize Monday as a hoilday some dont.

Yes. All federal employees and banks and schools and mail carriers are . We have to work to pay their day off. Just like veterans day They are all off and all the veterans work, including me
