I will be having a discussion with my school chaplain (a Roman Catholic priest) in the near future. I am rather bright and I have thought my argument through very well, but he has read literally thousands of philosophy books and knows more than pretty much anyone I've ever met, so I need to read up a bit more.

That said, does anyone have any good links to sites that deal with Catholic apologetics and agnostic atheism? It would be much appreciated, because I am almost certain that that is what the conversation will be mostly about. I am not trying to prove him wrong or anything, but I do want to have an intelligent philosophical discussion with him. Thank you.

Just discuss what you personally believe with him, and make sure you can explain why. Ask him why he believes what he does.

Discussion of religion should always be a sharing of ideas, and comparison of philosophies, not a competition to see who can win.

This is why I left the Catholic Church, no one could understand that I had an encounter with Jesus and I was born-again. The priest sad that I was going through a fad. That was twenty something years ago and I am closer to God now than I have ever been. I have never apologized for having met my Savior and for putting Him first before the church.

Catholics put "church tradition" on a higher level than scripture.
Pick any of the thousands of points where catholic doctrine contradicts scripture as your starting place. Some examples might be: celibate priesthood, confession to priests, or penance. The basic question becomes, "If it doesn't matter what scripture says, why does anything matter?"

I don't know about Catholic apologetics, but I am teaching apologetics from a protestant view.
Try searching on Dogpile search under Catholic apologetics.

The thing with most catholics is that they think they are always right when they aren't.
