it sure seems like that sometimes. I am 23, and I don't drink. Most people seem to think I am some kind of mustant or something because of it. I also find the bar/club scene to be pretty much the most boring places on earth. The problem is that I live in NYC and that seems to be the only thing anyone my age does around here.

Well the other problem is that I work nights.. so the only things open late on my days off and when I get out of work are bars.

Your not the only one. I don't know about you or any one else but for me it seems that only losers hang out in bars and clubs. A man goes in to a bar looking for a woman he may find a woman but there is no telling what kind he is getting.

Don't feel alone. I'm not in my 20s anymore, but I didn't get into it either. I used to think that I was missing something, but I wasn't.
I hated going to clubs because I would come home and my hair and clothes would smell like smoke. I think the last few times I went, I would just watch other people making a fool out of themselves. I never wanted to get drunk because I didn't want to have to ask other people what I did the night before! That's just crazy.

I'm 23 and I'm not into any of that stuff either. I get the same kind of grief from people. It seems it is the only thing anybody ever wants to do..but I've found that my friends who care enough about me will leave me alone about it. Just stick to your choices and don't go out drinking, partying, etc. just because everybody else is! Your friends can accommodate for you too!

Well I'm not into the whole clubbing thing either but I like to socially drink when I'm around friends.

Got one better than you. I'm now 50. back in the 70's. I was THE ONLY ONE who wasn't smokin' Dope. Having to put up with Disco, to get Girls. Was too hard for most.So they got wasted on Weed. But I took it all sober. (Real Bummer). Now. Those same people, have lost alot of their memories. And are telling me that I did it right. and you're doing the right thing, today.

Nah, I'm 24 and think they're pretty lame. Just seems like a waste of money and most of the people who go are loud and obnoxious. I dunno, I guess I just feel too old to do self-destructive things anymore.
