Every year I go through the delema of deciding if I should go to music camp or not. I'm 15 and have been going since I was 13. So, I've already gone 3 times, once to one camp and twice to another. It's just that I get homesick....is there anyway to fix that? Also, in my school I'm known as the music kid so I feel like I need to go, whether I want to or not. Any advice?

My little sister picks on me because I called home crying last year, so she thinks I shouldn't go. Is she right or should I just ignore her?

Don't think about what others may think about your decision, but think what will you feel about the decision. Will you be happy if you're going or are you not, how much you love music and how much you want to spend your time for music.

but if you still can't decide...

You know what? The best and easiest way to decide things when it get complicated, is by heart...

Now, try to decide to go or not, just pick one for now, then go to your parents and tell them what you've deciding?
if you feel stressed, burden, scared, un-peace... then it's a wrong decision,
but if you feel somehow relaxed, relieved, somehow peace, then it's the right decision.

You know that God gives us heart to judge if one thing is good or bad. Right or wrong...

Well, homesick is something else, i mean sometimes you got to sacrifice some feeling for other greater good... but if the feeling is unbeareble, then don't sacrifice it.

Hope this Help
Bless You

I think only you can really answer the question you made- Do you really like what you are doing and learning in music camp?- are you pursuing this as something for your future? If not then don't go- but if your going to pursue this as a career in the future then I think you should take all the advantages life gives you and go with the flow.
Good luck with any decisions you make- As long as your happy that's what counts!!
