Lots of ideas but first start with a doctor. You do not want to cause even worse damage than already there. Should the doctor not know of any damage then try.....heating pad, hot bath, massage, icy hot, slow stretching from sitting position, sleep with knees elevated (put a pillow under them), chiropractor, hot shower aimed at the pain, stretching while in the hot shower, flip your mattress, put a pillow behind your back while sitting anywhere (this will help your posture), walking (alleviates stress your body builds from dealing with stress), Motrin, Ibuprophen and such.

Good Luck :)

Through experience I think the best ways to relieve period pain is: To get a hot water bottle, make a bed on the sofa so you can see the tele and you're relaxed and not thinking about it, get your quilt over top and put a hot water bottle on top of the quilt where the pain is and its applying pressure so it will ease it abit, i'd advise against Exercise because I tried it and I felt sick and really ill. Just relax :D x

I recommend a chiropractor or a professional masseuse.
Both of them know what to do.
And, if you can't or don't want to go to one of the above, try an over-the-counter back patch or heating pad, but I really think you should try a chiropractor, by the sounds of it.
