I don't think so, it takes an act of congress to start drafting people. Not likely with a democratically controlled congress. Besides the casualties we are suffering aren't anywhere near that of Vietnam, which isn't to say that it couldn't be they just aren't at this time. Once our casualties reach a level where the replacement of such exceeds the current ability then a draft would be warranted.
The Vietnam war lasted approximately 16 years with a total dead for American troops of 58,209. That averages to 3,638 per year of the the war. Our current casualties aren't any where near that rate and we've been there 4 years now, I think. The primary reason is that the insurgents aren't nearly as well equipped and supplied as the VC were.
So any pronouncement of a coming draft by pacifists are just full of hot air until we reach casualty level on the order of the Vietnam war. Conclusion, No draft, not yet.

Since a draft would not produce one single useful soldier for the job at hand, I have trouble following your reasoning. An army generated from a draft is qualitatively different from a professional force. It isn't a matter of numbers, and comparing a few apples with a lot of oranges is, if you'll excuse me, fruitless. We do need to have larger forces, but we've had a massive downsizing, and we simply need to get the numbers back where they once (and not through the draft) were.

No there won't be a draft.
People today like to use the Draft to scare people like they used to use the Boogie man to scare kids.
by Saying "Look out the draft is coming!" then people start to freak out and support for our military drops.
and honestly that's all the Far Far left wants(not all people on the left only the extreme left who start spouting that nonsense), they want us to not have a military because they believe world peace will break out the US military is dissolved.

A draft would never happen. People would start rioting.
Edit:
"Nope, because the political support for it is in the single-digits. And politicans follow polls. The only way it could be politically possible is if there was another terrorist attack on American soil."
No, you are wrong. They couldn't draft for that. They would use martial law.

Not likely...a conscript soldier is unlikely to be able to do the job. It takes someone with a high school education, no drug or felony history, and motivation. Since most inner city youth don't fit...who would be drafted?
