the name is pronounced Car - (as in the car you drive) Ta - (as in ta da) Lel- (rhymes with well) Cartalael..... I am not sure on the spelling and can't find anything on the web. Could be an ancient language name or something from mythology. Perhaps a different language. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok since you weren't sure of the spelling i thought i'd try "Kartalel". Also, the name could be Kartal el - (something)
as in John from - (something). Did you leave off anything?

Kartalel is a Turkish name. In Turkish Kartal means Eagle. Perhaps this is a name related to the word Eagle in Turkish. Kartal is also a location in Turkey.

I've also found Kartalel as the last name of a couple people on a website that was in German. I have included it in the links below. Just do a Ctrl+F for Kartalel if you are having trouble finding it.

Well I hope that gave you more insight. If you have some more information about the name and where you heard it or found it I would be able to find more information. Good Luck!

Post a question on any of the genealogy websites. Many people on there to help you find the meaning.

maybe if you replaced the "C" in CAR with a "K" it would work. it makes the same sound.
