my 1 year old boy could cry for 20 minutes straight but when we turn Diego on, its like he's hypnotized!!! LOL , what could it be?

My little guy loves Dora and Diego he can be in the other room and he hears the music and comes running. As for as it being and immature show remember its not based on adults its for kids and i think its wonderful i have a Dora DVD and my son watches it ever day and both shows are on at least 3 times a day. The smile that comes across his face when i turn it on for him is priceless.

My son is about to turn 4 and he is having a Diego themed birthday party. The past two years were both Dora themed parties!! He loves both Dora and Diego and has for a very long time. However, he is starting to get more into the super hero phase. But he is at that age.
I think kids like both Dora and Diego because the shows are somewhat interactive. I find both programs very entertaining and think they're great for kids.

My Daughter just turned 3 and LOVES Dora and Diego but if her sister is watching something else she had nothing to do with the TV but if even a commercial comes on with the music she runs to the TV...she loves the songs and the interaction...so at Target they have Dora Cd's witch have Diego music on it also and they have Dora and Diego Toys I am sure they have them at other stores but Target is where we go. So we put on the CD and she will sit and play with the toys what she has seen on TV I love it BC she speaks the Spanish and English when she is saving the animals or what ever she is doing. We only speak English so I love that she is learning something I can not teach her....and it gets her away from the TV ( oh and the toys are small enough that she can put them in her backpack and take them when we go somewhere)

My 5 yr old son loves Diego, Backyardigans, Daniel Cook. He also likes Blues Clues and Sponge Bob.

A little confused. You're not talking about Diego from Ice Age are you??
Well anyway, my son (3yrs) loves him (the tiger from Ice Age)
I'm amazed at things like that though (the way a child at such a young age) is drawn to something like that. Seeing as they are hugely influenced by "us" - well the people who love and care for them.
Eg. My son just adores Batman. He has never ever seen a Batman film or heard of batman before this incident. One night a friend of hubby's came round for dinner wearing a Batman mask (last Halloween) Now my son thinks he one of the coolest people ... so now its Batman everything!! And I'm not just talking figurines. I mean everything from socks to a pack of cookies with the Batman picture on it.
Kids are just the coolest!

My son is 14 months and Loves Diego to and Dora...LOL. But his favorite is the Backyardigans! He does the same - can be screaming bloody murder but as soon as those little characters come on he is all smiles =)

my 3 year old loves Diego! He goes around the house saying he's rescuing animals (his stuffed animals or plastic ones). It's very cute
He also loves Bob the Builder, Wonder Pets, Curious George, & Handy Manny

My son is 2 and loves anything that has to do with Diego. One day I took him with me clothes shopping and he saw a shirt with Diego on it and he had to have it. It was quite funny, he got all excited about it.

My nephew watches Diego he really loves Dora & Spongebob! Kids get obsessed with things they like when they are little

same with BOTH of my boys.. ages and 10 mths.. Diego and Blue's Clues.. it's strange how young they start picking their favorites!
