I was 13..and I can now say..I REGRET it!! I'm 31 now, have 2 kids, and have a whole bunch of stories I'd never tell them about. I regret having sex at such a young age. It meant nothing! When you are older, and in a relationship, that's when it means something. Don't waste your time on these young boys who's only goal is to pop your cherry..and then move on to the next cherry :) The very first guy I was with, is now the father to my niece and nephew, so it was a go no where thing...and now it means nothing to me. Make your first time count..with the man you will love forever and ever.

I was 14 she was 15. Besides the fact of getting an older girl it was one of the most awkward situations I have had to date. We had no Idea what we were doing! I thought I might get third base but I was not ready for the homer!

Golly, how many times has this one been asked.

OK ok ok, frankly you best lose it on your wedding day or atleast when you're really in love.

I read a question yesterday, coming from a 15 year old who tested HIV positive and was afraid of telling his parents and partners.

If you want to avoid exposure to STD's and this sort of stuff, then wait until you find someone who you know really well and cares about you. Look after yourself.

There is no "popular age"--it's not a decision that you make based on what other people do.

You make that decision when you're ready and when you're mature enough to deal with all the possible consequences--whatever age that turns out to be for you.

there is no popular or appropriate age, it's when you feel ready, when in your mind and heart, you know you want to do it. i do think, that below 15 is waaaaay too young, i was in my early 20's when i lost mine, but i had lots of chance to loose it at 17 or 19, but i didn't feel ready...and it has nothing to do with love either, i wasn't in love with the guy i did it with; i simply trusted him and i felt comfortable with him, i was ready and of course verry attracted to him...anyways, don't feel presured by friends or your partner and btw, the first time is not that great... hurts like hell and there is no happy ending(for the girl)

Early to mid-20s is best. Too many STDs and single teen mothers in the world.
