I have a wierd problem. I used to really like a girl in 8th grade, but for one reason or another I never asked her out, and I felt terrible about it. Now, in the middle of 9th grade, I finnally asked her out, but she said that she was busy this weekend. Here's the basic conversation, with names and screen names changed.
Me: hey
her: hey
me: whats' up?
her: nmu
me: nothing much
me: how's school?
her: john, i must say. you ask the most boring questions/
me: lol we haven't talked in a while, im sorry
me: ill ask something more interesting then
me: do you want to go see a movie with me sometime this weekend?
me: i havent seen you in a while
her: lol aw im sorry im busy all this weekend
me: that's ok
me: so what's another interesting question i can ask you?
her: i do not know.
so basically, I'm really kinda hurt. I think that saying someone's boring is a terrible thing to say. I actually am interesting and a little wild almost in person, but over the internet, i dont know, i just ...

... don't know what to say, or what to ask to make her not think im so boring. Also, i was planning on asking her out this weekend anyway, and it is perfectly possible that she is indeed busy, but now i'm not sure. So, do i ask her again next weekend? do i let her go, again? i really like her and miss her, but i cant tell her that right now, not after possibly being rejected.
What's a good, interesting thing to ask a girl? and no trivia things, and no really personal questions, and no "what do you want to be when you grow up" sorta things.
i know, that doesnt leave you with much, but it doesnt leave me with much, either. i guess that's why im boring over the internet. What should I do???

wow...i don't think it's you..i think it's her..she sounds a little conceited..like her conversations are just wonderful, and yours are not..i would blow her off..and mark that down as a lesson learned..imagine being married to her, and her telling you your conversations are boring. So, why date her if you woudn't marry her..haha.
and for the future...i wouldn't try to find a date online..i'd try to do it in person. And if asking for dates doesn't work..just ask on of your friends to go to the movies with you..getting out and about is how you are going to meet people..when you are least looking for it!!! And I really think that's the way to go..besides..why strap yourself down to one person.? High School should be the time of your life..not the time where you are strapped down!!

Wanna be a more interesting person? Not just over the web but in life? Get out of the house more often and do things. Have a passion for life. Meet people and socialize. Get involved with extra curricular activities at your school. Play football or join a social club. Before you know it, people may have to tell you to shut the hell up because you are talking too much. LOL

next week or when ever ask her out again. maybe she just happened to be busy. say something random or something that would make her laugh. don't ask how SCHOOL is going..how is it EVER going..? school is boring. talk about things you two might have in common like music or what movies you might want to see. and dont ASK HER what interesting questions you can ask her. talk about anything....random or not, it might keep her on her toes, guessing.

find a friend-a girl or guy, but i'd suggest a girl, just because in this kinda situation they could help more
and IM w/ them a lot...get to know different topics to talk about, especially w/ girls
and if u need a girl to IM w/ and can't think of one, u can IM me...i'm on the compy a lot so i do a lot of IMing and such

9th grade, you're only around 14 so don't worry about it...you're a bit young to be worrying about dating...just be yourself, people will like you or not...those that don't are ones you needn't waste your time on...in a couple of years when you're a little more mature, and at an appropriate age to date, you may find the situation to have improved âº

i have to say no offense but u need to spark up the convo be polite ask her how she is etc, but dont jump straight in with wanna go out at the weekend but she did sound genuinly busy, try finding out bout her like wat her favourite film iss or sumthing or hows so and so, try re wording senences to create variety, try ask a lot of questions about her to make her feel ur really interested, and wanna know about her, things like have u seen the new bond film? did u like it? wat did u think of the new bond? etc are there any films u like out at the moment?

keep being friends and talking online. girls like to talk about themselves a lot. They like to talk about their friends, and sports, and shopping. If she has hobbies talk about those. After a couple of weeks suggest a movie or date at that point. Girls like when guys are not to pushy but don't play it to cool. Good Luck!

well, u can start a convo about anything. just start talking about the simplest things and it'll lead to somthing. maybe u can start with sumthing funny that happened today or kinda awkward. theres plenty of things to talk about, if one of ur buddies came over what would u talk to them about? talk about what she likes.
