this guy that i really like at my school told me that he liked me (on halloween). now yesterday i asked him if he really ment it and he siad "no i never liked you i just said that to get people to stop asking me." But now he makes sure i can't hate him and doesn't stop touching me. so what should i do? i can't get my mind off of him and he is like one of my best friends right now. he is always there when i need him and shares his deepest thoughts with me reather than anyone else. and if i need something he finds away to get it for me. like my ride after school fell through one time and he conned his parents into giving me a ride even though the car was for two and there were three of us. (talk about close and personal) and his parents even like me better than all of his other friends. they were also like quizzing me on what my parents did and what i plan to do. he's sweet and goofy whereas the nother guys at our school are either jerks or takein because the girls outnumber the guys.

It sounds like this guy really does like you. If he really hated you you would feel the ice in his veins.
He's probably feeling some peer pressure and is afraid of being singled out or made fun of.
In body language when someone touches you repeatedly,it is for reassurance.They are making sure you know they are there, and their attention is on you.
You could look into his eyes and see if his pulpus are larger then normal when he is around you.Or if you notice a dance in his pants when he is touching you.

For starters, guys aren't good with questions about love or like..they really suck at it. The next time he touches you..tell him straight up.."Excuse me..if you supposedly don't like me, then why is it that you keep touching me?"(don't expect an honest answer to this, either, but it WILL make him think about it).
And stop looking so obvious about caring about him. Guys like a challenge..and doesn't sound like you are being one!!
This doesn't have anything to do with your question, but I also want to throw this in...Stop worrying about boys so much. boys are always going to be there..and once you get out of high school, there's a whole world of them just waiting for you..and YOU get to PICK instead of SETTLING!!! Never Settle...reach for the stars..they are yours for the choosing. If I could go back..I'd study my butt off, get awesome grades, and worry about college...cause I did it the opposite way, and I regret it. I was boy crazy..and I ended up getting pregnant a month after I graduated H.S....and I never got to go to college...that's what BOYS got me..lol...Good Luck!!

I hate to say this, but this guy sounds gay. You may have just got yourself a gay boyfriend.
You will just have to accept his as a friend, and not as a 'boyfriend'.
It's time you gave up and found a real 'boyfriend'. If it turns out he isn't gay, then, it may make him jealous enough, to tell you how he really feels about you. That could be a win win situation for you.

he probably likes you but doesnt want to admit it and you should try to take him out on a date..... dont bluntly ask just creep up to the question...
