I like this man and I get the vibes he likes me. This man has a girlfriend and I have a boyfriend although both of us are having problems with them. I am looking to leave my boyfriend soon but because I really like this man I want to know whether he has genuine feelings for me or is just out for a fling. I have said in passing that I would never have affairs or one night stands and his behaviour towards me has stayed the same. Does anyone have any experience of this, knowing how to tell. He is in a position of authority and is a lovely kind caring person, loads of people say so. He is shy around me and seems to be crushing big time. My gut says hes not after a fling. I haven't had that much experience with this kind of scenario so some clues would be good. Is there anything I can ask or do to get the general idea?

My advice would be that if you are not happy who your with then move on.....but do it alone and then see how things pan out....dont do it while still with someone because all that causes more heartache.....be strong go it alone and then your free to see.....but dont forget hes not free yet and is he worth all that?

i would advise you leave your boyfrind ... only because you are thinking of having an affair. dont waste his time and yours. stay on your own, be happy on your own, then one day you may meet someone who you have genuine feelings for. dont leep from one to another and put off leaving someone you arent happy with until you find out what another wants... is you life, what do you want? happiness i suppose? if so.. get your head straight, be single and happy, then you are ready to have a relationship. wish you luck x

Its all very well you wanting to leave your boyfriend but sadly, thats irrelevant if this guy isn't gonna leave his gf. If he is as lovely as you say then he isn't the type to cheat so no matter how much he may like you (I think he DOES like you) he won't leave this girl. I think you should leave your bf as planned if you are unhappy with him. Then see what this other guy does. If he is happy with his gf he won't leave her but if he isn't happy, he may end up yours!
