It is absolutely impossible to stay in a long term relationship if it is "only" the looks that a guy finds attractive in a girl. However, most of the times (not necessarily always), looks are what get the initial attention. It has happened to me many times that a girl I thought was very beautiful in the beginning got less and less special as I got to know her, and perhaps even became ugly in my eyes when I found out that she was not a desirable person. It also works perfectly the other way round. Someone you first considered average looking can become the most beautiful woman if you find out she has a great personality.

No, not only. Perhaps the ignorant would. For a relationship, it's like being on a long, long trip with someone- the scenery may be great, the views stunning. But if the atmosphere is terrible, then it's a horrible, lousy, drag of a ride.

When i was younger looks were 90% of what I considered as important. Now that I am older character and values are very important. Looks don't matter if you can't get along with the person.

I don't. You can't be a beast, a manly girl, or a fat cow though. But if you've got a decent face, you're not too fat or too skinny or too tall, and you have a good wholesome personality, that would go very far in your favor. Moderate-sized breasts and buttocks are ideal, but I could compromise a little on that. I cannot compromise much on personality issues.

Before you ask -- I like girls who are kind, optimistic, appreciative, faithful, courteous, generous, sensitive to my feelings (lots of girls forget that guys have feelings too, some of which are intense), supportive, and who love me back. Good night!

Nope. At least those who are older than 18 and have been dating awhile. Little boys go for just looks. Men look for depth. Granted, attraction is important. You gotta be more than just a pretty face.

A wise man once said, "Looks may get me interested, but it can't keep me interested."

Only, no but it is definately a big part. Guys are naturely more shallow then girls. It is just like that, i mean women do look better then us anyways.

Guys dream with beatiful girls and it is very important to the male identity. But they might look a girl of a different way living with her day-by-day. See ya!

First is the looks then most guys try to find out what her behaviour is like. No one wants a psycho nag on their heels.
