Limewire is legal, but only if you use it to download or upload none copyrighted material. You are illegal if you use it to download material you are legally required to pay for!
Also you are, despite what anyone else says, opening yourself up to viruses etc disguised as genuine downloads.
I would stay away from it unless you are savvy about the size of a download to avoid viruses and know exactly what is and is not legal to download.

First of All...LIMEWIRE is hard spyware...it will demolish your computer system. My humble request NOT TO USE THIS SOFTWARE AT ALL.....
Better to use Bittorrent software or more beter buy a affordable CD/DVD.

It's a file sharing network, it's legal, just don't download anything but music, lots of viruses.

yes, and there are no viruses. people with low RAM and dialup have weak connections and that corrupts files.
