That is what I drink, soda and water. I am just checking because I have strep and I want to heal as fast as possible. I am on Z-pack, 3rd day on it, still have the white bumps but no pain :) I want to make sure I get healthy quick. THanks for your help.

Yes, because the sugar feeds the bacteria. Healthy sweeteners are raw honey because they have natural enzymes to help fight bacteria.

Strep is a bacteria that is localized in your tonsils and throat so drink herba teas with raw honey.

It won't make it worse (I'm guessing that you would have to drink a *lot* of soda/sugary drinks to somehow "feed" the bacteria, but even that seems fairly impossible), but overall, nutrition will affect your immune system's ability to recuperate - and soda is nothing but empty calories. So, my advice? Switch to diet and try to cut down anyway, regardless of your strep.

Soda contains high amounts of sugar, and sugar can seriously harm your immune system... thus making it harder for you to recover from your strep throat. I would suggest that you cut out the soda completely. It is not good for you at all.

Best decision I've ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.

The best remedy is gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash. This can reduce the pain and inconvenience. More details and home remedies available at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html
