Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

We will all meet each other on the day of Judgement. Today in this materialistic world, people think that everything should have proof. Religion dont have proof and so ignore it. Live as you like and perish when the time comes. This way of thinking itself is against science. Becos today the whole science is based on certain unseen faiths & beliefs. Example, in Maths we assume "Limit tends to infinity" and solve many complex problems. What is this Infinity? No man knows it. SImilarly in Physics we assume a smallest wave particle called "Photon" which dont have any proof for existence physically, then proceed with atomic physics. Without such assumption & faith, physics is meaningless. So faith is not against science, it is a part & basis of science. Likewise we have billions of wonders around us and in our own body to proclaim the existence of God. Belief in such an Entity will only make our actions better, give peace to our mind in spite of so much anxious moments of our life. We cant say that we can believe everything only when we touch, feel, see, hear etc. Using our 6th sense we can see something but infer something else from that.
Till now time is not defined scientifically. We can measure time and know that time will always go forward. There are few theories that time is going forward like how our universe is expanding. Time is a dimension for all measurements. Scientists say when everything move with the speed of light, then time dimension will not be there. After death this time dimension will not exist for us. We will lay silent in the grave (physically cant be explained becos the dimensions are different) until the judgement day. After that based on our actions, we will go to Heaven or Hell which will be eternal, means no time dimension.

First, the grave. Then when Jesus comes the second time, the resurrection of the dead occurs.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

"All are the same in what all have. One eventuality there is to the righteous one and the wicked one, the good one and the clean one and the unclean one, and the one sacrificing and the one that is not sacrificing. All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in SHEOL, the place to which you are going." (Ecclesiastes 9:2,10)
Sheol is the hebrew word for Hades (greek) which means grave/pit/burial ground and yes, it is also translated simply as hell...not a fiery place of torment just six feet under the ground.

No one has any proof what so ever that after death you will go anywhere. I feel that after you die, you are just dead. Sad, but i can't see it any other way. I looked at my mother in the casket, i felt of her body, she was cold and not there. I looked at dead animals, they are dead, non existing. Nothing the blood has stopped flowing. I know that no one will ever be able to prove what happens after death, but in my heart i know there is only life while we breath.

There is no evidence there is a soul nor of any destination for a soul to go to.
Anyone who tells you differently is not telling you anything they can verify or prove. In other words, they are lying to you.

I believe that your soul goes to Paradise to await the second coming of Christ. In Paradise there are two places. One is prison ( Where Jesus went for the three days His body laid in the tomb), ther He taught the gospel to those who have never heard it. The prison is also for those who were taught the gospel, but rejected it. The other part is a place for those who were valient in their beliefs and tried to follow the gospel. They teach those in prison and rest to await the second coming.

Big hole in the ground or a little urn full of what's left after you're roasted.
Or perhaps you'd like the Tibetan method, where the location is the belly of a scavenger bird....
