What are the measurements of a toddler bed quilt?

Want to sew a quilt for my baby's toddler bed, need to know the standard size (in inches). Sources, if you have them, would be nice. Thanks

If you already have the bed, then just measure it. That way you can be sure the quilt fits it exactly the way you want. The great thing about making your own quilt (well, okay, one of many things that's great about making your own quilt) is that you decide how it fits on your bed.

Do you want it to just barely hang over the edge? Do you want it to drop to the bottom of the mattress? to the bottom of the frame? to the floor? Do you want it to have a pillow tuck? All of these will determine how big you should make the quilt.

Check out the website below for a great quilt size calculator. You enter the dimensions of the bed and other questions, and it tells you the finished size you need.

A standard full-size crib mattress ( W 28” L 52” H 6”).

my daughters baby sealy mattress is 51 inches long and 28 inches across!

Measure your crib mattress and add about 6 inches to the length and width of the measurements. Not all mattresses are the same and if you are making a custom quilt make it fit the bed.

it should be around 72 by 60 and all depends on the length that u want on the sides
