Well, i lost alot of weight the old fashioned way but you HAVE to be ready to cut out a lot of things you like and be hungry sometimes.
1.) cut out ALL sodas and juice and only drink diet. DIET EVERYTHING even if you cant stand the taste, you'll get used to it. People don't realize that juice has TONS of sugar in it and sugar has calories. So diet coke, diet apple juice, ect. If you can cut out sugar completely do that. But i couldnt. (just by switching to diet drinks i lost 8lbs)

2.) walk, park farther away than you normally do at the store, take the stairs, not the escalator or elevator.

3.) do some home workouts if you dont have a gym membership. So on selfmagazine.com they have some great ideas for lossing weight and keeping it off. To burn calories, you have to keep your heartrate up which means cardio and lots of it. jog in place, dance for 20 mins, anything that will keep you out of breath for 20 minutes. then each week, add 5 min. You will eventually be able to run because your lungs and heart will be in shape. When you get to the point where in place things don't realy get you out of breath, get an aerobics tape. You can get some fun ones where you can dance to pop music and theyre good and making you sweat.

4.) cut out pasta. Dont cut out all carbs cause the second you go back to eating them you will bloat up again. Just stop eating past.

5.) be smart about what you eat. At breakfast eat cerial instead of an egg and cheese or a donut. STOP eating fried foods and high sugar foods. If you're hungry eat yogurt with wheat germ. (its actually a good snack and gets your sugar cravings satisfied)

6.) Eat one thing you crave a day. I HAVE to have a chocolate bar everyday. Its an addiction, but it never hurt me in loosing weight. Just get the smaller one and eat it slowly. So if yours is french fries, get a small from mcDonalds and BEFORE you start eating throw away half, because if you say i;ll only eat half and then throw it away, its ALOT harder to do. Or if your family makes your favorite meal that contains friend chicken, eat two bites, then keep eating your healthy food.

JUST TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. NO CHEATING because once you give yourself a day off, it turns into a week, and then two weeks, ect.. its not WORTH IT... just find healthy snacks that you really truely like..

Good luck and just read labels and then figure out what you really want and go for the least amount of calories. Use your judgement because you know what is not good.

ALSO, a lot of people mistake thirst for hunger. Some people feel like thier hungry, but if you just drink something (even a diet coke) you might not be hungry anymore.. its amazing how your body works. And drink lots of water. its not only good for loosing weight, but it clears up your skin as well. If you make all these changes you'll feel better, loose weight, and your skin, hair, and nails will look better.

u might not even need to lose weight. some people just have that super model thin body and some people have the normal, healthier looking version of that but they're all beautiful so if u can't lose the 20 pounds by april, don't sweat it. just eat fruits and veggies and fewer carbs, fewer calories, and less fat. and i read somewhere that it helps if u don't eat for like four hours before u go to bead because ur metabolism is higher when ur awake than when ur sleeping. also DON'T skip breakfast. it boosts ur metabolism and helps u lose extra weight. if u eat smaller meals more often during the day that helps too. and don't forget to drink plenty of water and excercise, but not too much or u could get hurt. good luck!!! u can do it!!!

Don't drink any juices, soda (even diet ), lattes or any sweetetened drinks but plain ice tea and water. People consume a lot of calories through drinking and it doesn't even fill you up. Also a big bowl of oatmeal with a little honey and coffee an milk will keep you full in the morning so you don' over eat at lunch or dinner.

Eat healthy and exercise. That is all.
And please don't use the word "anorexic" like that. You clearly do not know what anorexia is.
It's a mental disorder, dear. It's not just about weight. It's about so many deep emotional pains carved deep inside, so many that it is overwhelming and compels one to engage in self-destructing disorders.
Anyone who "becomes anorexic" to MERELY lose weight is called an idiot, not an anoretic.

Yesiree.

Good thinking! Just eat healthy; fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, low fat dairy, whole grains. 1500-1800 calories a day should be fine (and that's alot of food if you're eating right). Then just exercise several days a week. Run, walk, job, swim, play a sport, wieght train, whatever you like. Think healthy and you'll do it right.

DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE.....
....who tells you to binge/bulimia/anorexia/whatever
it'll make you feel horrible about yourself & you can
possibly just gain the weight right back.
What I suggest is a balanced meal and excercise.
If you dont think you have the willpower to do that,
then TRY to have ONE SMALL JUNKFOOD a day max.
[a lollipop, small cookie, etc.] or you can have one
large/medium sized a week [Pizza,Hamburger,Donut]
and exercise normally.
Try taking stairs instead of escalators.
Get up to the TV instead of using the remote.
Walk instead of take the bus, etc.
Simple, small things like that can really make a difference.

Either go to Weight Watchers..or go on a water diet...well my aunt went on it and she looks really skinny...

ok
For water diet
You eat only like a couple snacks like fruits or veggies with a dipping..but dont eat to make yourself full..just so you will get some nutrients and dont starve yourself..and so the rest is to drink water.

Cut down your intake of carbs and sugars. Also, limit your junk food intake. And drink lots of water. Supplements like alpha lipoic acid and L-carnitine may help you greatly.
