To those who can only see their significant other around once a week, what are some good things to do in order to keep you from getting frustrated? And/or what helps communication -wise?

A great thing that always makes my gf melt is chatting with webcam, and talking at the same time. Cause when she sees you, she will feel you more! And call everyday!

My boyfriend and I have a long distance relationship and we can't see each other at all. Until insignificant breaks and stuff. We talk on the phone everyday for long periods of time. Eventhough we have separate lives we still find time to talk to each other everyday. Call her. Talk to her everyday. This isn't the dark ages, we have the internet, there are so many ways to communicate it's scary...and just make sure they days you do see her are the best ever. Good luck babe!

i see my boyfriend every 5/6 weeks, he lives approximately 150 miles away. It is soo hard, but soo worth it! hehe
it is hard work long distant relationships and it takes alot of effort, but it makes the time being together so much more worth it. you appreciate there company more too.
- We're always talking to each other. He txts' me at least 5 times a day if not more, and we ring each other. Plus we write each other letters. I do miss him so much, but we always know what the other one is doing,so it's not as hard. it is frustrating not being able to hug, kiss or hold the person you love. But i tell you, it is so rewarding when you do

Long distiace relationships never work. They both have different lives & one of them could be cheating & the outher would never no. Not a good idea find some close to home.

Talk several times a week via phone...email when you can't call but want to share something...many dating couples only see each other on weekends, even if they live local to one another...work schedules and such often keep people apart...

i was in a long term relationship for a year. all i can say is trust each other and talk on the phone alot. send letters showing that you take time to show them how much you really do care.
