My sisters and i want to save up for a turtle! Great idea right? Except we have no money at all and no ideas on how to get some! Now my mom wont buy us one and we would rather not have her buy it because it could be something taken away as a punishment if she bought it! So does any body have any good ideas?

Earn money by doing chores.. for your parents or neighbors. Gardening help, baby sitting, delivering papers, doing household chores like doing dishes, walking their dogs etc.

P.S. If you are not old enough to look after children or walk dogs, you can ask the neighbors how you could help for money. Better yet, tell your mother that you want to be fully responsible for the turtle so you want to earn and then buy. Believe me, she will be happy to hear that you want to be independent. Just don't tell her exactly WHY you want to be independent in the first place :)
