Me and my boyfriend are taking a week-long road trip, 3 days from now. I have a carsickness problem, but he doesn't know that. Any quick remedies [long-lasting preferably] that I can use are greatly appreciated.

Go to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist where the motion sickness remedies are. Dramamine is one but supposedly there is one better. Start taking this per instructions about three days before the trip. Works for roller coasters and cruises as well. You must, however, begin taking is 2-3 days before the trip and continue til the trip is over. One day prior is not enough time to get it in your system.

See your local pharmacy. They sell what you need it works for car or boat sickness and works very good. You "must take it a few hours before starting out" and it last all day. You would need to take one each day before starting out.

I am not sure of the spelling but it is call Dramamine, but there are several brand names available too.
