Depends on what country you are talking about really. In the UK they may or may not stamp a persons passport depending on what mood they are in at the moment. You should report illegal workers to customs and immigration dept. of your country. But all they really have to do in that case is just apply for the stamp that WILL allow them to work legally- especially if they plead the innocent- I didn't know that law- story.... There are more ways for foreign students to get over and around things than there is for you to trip them up.

Think of it this way- foreign students are paying premiums to go to school in other countries. It is in the best interest for governements to protect and extend the rights of those students who are paying out thousands to attend schools.

There's probably not a lot you could do to be honest- things you can do are probably more troublesome and time consuming for yourself and not for them in the long run.

Hope this has been helpful.

how do you know it's a nonworking visa? did the person tell you that? why do you want them fired? examine your motives, and then report the employer for hiring them, they are the one at fault. once again...if no one would hire people who were not legally able to work, they wouldn't be trying to get the job in the first place.

Why would you do that? If it is a student here on a visa, they must be a decent individual. Would you rather the Gov. pay for the things this person needs or let him work for it?
