Is it rude to say something to people who just WONT quit staring at you in the subway or the streets? Im 17 & I wont like not a bad looking girl. but I am SICK of 40 year old gross men staring me up and down all the time, I cant pretend I dont see it. what should I do or say?

Don't say anything. They have a right to look at whatever or whoever they want. They also have a right to say almost anything they want too. Just ignore them. Good luck!
I see that people are telling you to insult those guys . . . being the son of a dirty old man of 74 years of age, I must warn you that old bachelors like them have REALLY sharp senses of humor. Unless you outright insult them, they will have a witty comeback. They might not even care if you insult them. Still, don't insult them. You might hurt their feelings. Is it really so bad to be looked at? Would you prefer if no guys would look at you at all? Some of them might not realize they're doing it (unlike my dad -- he flirts with everyone, even 20 year olds). I think you're over-reacting. Good night!

Omg, I have the same problem you do. I'm 17 also and old men won't stop staring at me. It's gross. I hate it too b/c I know they don't have a chance. If it was a young hot guy I wouldn't mind it. Just try not to let it get to you. Or, you could say "would you please stop staring, it's rather rude." Good luck hun.

Tell them that you're not their eye candy, and that if they want to stare at girls that are too young for them to go buy a playboy magazine. Or simply say "Excuse me? Can I help you?" in a sarcastic way that shows that you know they're staring at you and that you're offended by it. or you could say "Didn't anyone ever tell you it's rude to stare?" or if you don't want to say anything give them dirty/ digusted looks. If you're loud about telling them off and attract attention of the people around you, they'll probably stick up for you, especially if there's an adult female nearby.

JUst tell them if they don't quit staring you will call a cop because your a minor and they are perverts. So don't think it's rude to say something bad at someone who stares at you.

If you're in a situation with a lot of people around, say something like "Did I spill something on myself? Is that why you're looking at me?" This is mildly insulting without being too aggressive.

give them a dirty look like your not interested in the dirty old buggers i am 47 and would never look at a 17 year old lad. like that.

dress more conservativly in public areas, and more attractive around the people you wan to check you out, like party's. If you can't do that just give then dirty looks.
