Last night I got pretty drunk for the first time...I had about 7 oz or so of vodka. Today I don't have a headache at all but I am feeling SOOO nauseous..I ate a little bit and have drank some water but not much because it's very hard to get down since I'm so nauseous. Anyways, my lower back feels very uncomfortable and I'm guessing it's my kidneys but I don't know...should I start slamming down tons of water or is it normal for them to feel kind of odd?

Also, like I said this was my first time to ever get drunk so I'm not sure if 7 oz is a really high amount (for vodka anyways) did I REALLY overdo it and punish my body or am I just feeling extra crappy since my body isn't used to alcohol?

Your back might hurt because alcohol is a painkiller (so you can do something like pull a muscle without realizing it).

Hangovers with vodka aren't like other hangover. Because vodka is so distilled it lacks a lot of the impurities in other alcoholic drinks. (Which may be why you don't have a headache, vodka hangovers are usually a little easier than other hangovers). Water will help. (Hangovers are caused in a large part by dehydration. As a general rule of thumb, have one glass of water between every alcoholic drink) Also try dry toast or crackers to help with the nausea.

7 oz is quite a bit of vodka. (That would be about the equivalent of 7 beers). If your body isn't used to alcohol to begin with you probably are feeling crappier than I would if I had that much.

For what it's worth, the nastiest hangovers are caused by champagne. All that carbonation and sugar . . . uggh.

Remember, all things in moderation. Sip your vodka straight (and straight from the freezer)

7 oz. of vodka is alot of vodka for anyone. Your body is definitely telling you it isn't happy. You are nauseous because the alcohol is toxic to your system. NO PREACHING HERE only mean that your body is telling you it doesn't like what you did.

Don't flush yourself with water, unless you are urinating okay. Too much water could actually "drown" you and cause kidney failure. Seriously. If you are urinating okay, then go ahead and drink plenty of water. But the alcohol actually has to dissipate from your blood stream and through your organs.

ALCOHOLIC HANGOVER:

Take 2 Tbsp. honey every 15 minutes until your head has cleared from the toxicity of the alcohol in your system.

For a hangover, drink a cup of tomato juice with a splash of Tabasco sauce mixed into it.

Mix 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper in a glass of water and drink it.

Make a banana smoothie with a banana, 1 cup milk, and 3 Tbsp. honey in a blender on high, and drink it for a hangover.

Take one drop of whatever you drank the night before, and mix it into a glass of pure water, then drink it down. This is called The Hair of The Dog hangover cure

7 ounces is a lot for someone that does not drink often.
It is normal for any and all parts of your body to hurt when hanging over.
Try to eat something light (like a sandwich) to absorb some of the liquids in your stomach. Then get some fruit juice or tomato juice in to get a vitamin boost.

That's normal for a hangover, drink water and eat some chocolate, and get some sleep if you can.

you have a hangover. If the problem persists more than 24 hours, contact your doctor if you are still worried. Your back may feel weird because you may have pulled odd muscles when you were drunk.

yeah thats a lot, thats like 7 shots. drink lots of water and eat crackers or something, then sleep it off

by the way you dont want your body 'getting used' to alcohol. that is called tolerance and tolerance leads to addiction and dependence.
