PLEASE don't take it to offense the best way would to be offer the pastor or his wife a massage then they would see that you are not being sexual in any way if that don't work confront the pastor don't do it in public but private listen to his views talk to him like a person and see if you can come to an agreement ask him where it is in the exact verse where massages are sin it is not there some people have a weird sense of what is sin and what is not sin is anything that separates you from the will of GOD IE the 10 commands if they will not listen to you just let it go because if you are a pro the you have had difference of opinions any way I HOPE THIS HELPS IN SOME WAY

God has given you the Gift of healing. Don't pay attention to naysayers. In the bible there are clearly healers and prophets everywhere touched by God. The woman who told her pastor should have refrained from telling him because Massage Therapy is therapy. That's all. Nothing more.

(1) Don't let one person's view define the whole field. One friend who once "condemned" me for my Eastern-influenced views she felt were against the Bible, later got into "Reiki" healing and now incorporates that into her faith and practice! So she had a complete turnaround in attitude. So people do go through their phases from fundamental rejection to more moderate perspectives that include diverse gifts as part of God's creation.
If you read Scott Peck's "Different Drummer" he discusses this common pattern where people go from liberal to extreme fundamental religious views, before they settle in the middle.
(2) Can you use this opportunity to teach and bridge gaps between cultural understandings of healing? If you read books like "Healing Light" by Agnes Sanford or "Healing" by Francis MacNutt, these explain how the natural healing forces work in harmony with science.
(3) Also there is a new book out on the "Gospel of Inclusion" "God is Not a Christian" where Bishop Carlton Pierson rejects past Christian teachings of condemnation and exclusion. He walked away from his church and established ministry, and started over to tell the truth that most Christians were missing. Since then he has been applauded by people of all faiths worldwide who welcome his approach to correcting past Christian misguided traditions which so many people have suffered under.
If you REALLY want to know what people will be preaching in days to come, this is it!

Most pastors are teaching the same old things, because they do not believe in revelation anymore. Most laws that govern the churches today are man made. No approval from God, No relation to the true Gospel. You may lose one customer, but go on with your business. Massage is a good and decent profession.

If you are a Christian you shouldn't be massaging naked people under sheets, try to leave their clothes on, that leaves alot of room for the enemy to come in and work on your thoughts. You never seen Jesus heal people by getting them naked and throwing a sheet over them, and we are suppose to follow Christ, so I would say you are using this healing thing out of context. Get a different job.

thats terrible....that church is under the lw, not grace it would seem. Unfortunately, some churches feel they need to help Jesus out, therefore the work of atonement is NOT finished. Takes away from the gift. Sad.
Most are preaching repentance and issue of the heart, closer relationship with G-d via the Holy spirit from what I have seen.
Heres hoping you can be a bigger person and not judge the many by the few.

Alot of Christians are the type that look for demons under ever doily and around every corner, you can't blame her for receiving false information from a man that probably doesn't understand gifts of the spirit, if that is in fact what you have. Most churches these days, have weird doctrines and strange teachings. What you do helps the body and mind, yes. It helps relieve stress and helps your body to be more relaxed. However, what it does for the soul I don't see? But like I said you can't blame her for receiving false information. Alot of Christian women are very ify about taking their clothes off period, so you can't really blame her for that either.

because God say on the top circumstances people will be enthusiasts of themselves and UnGodly and because of this they gained't love the observe and its truth. The church homes ought to maintain the folk coming in and noticeably the hot technology who do no longer favor to hearken to the thanks to stroll with God yet that they are tremendous only the way they are and be entertained so leisure is what they are getting.Repentance is a humbling adventure, a self studying of ones sense of excellent and incorrect of excellent and incorrect and a willingness to modify and enable God replace you. you recognize people do no longer favor to admit there's a element incorrect with them and they'd be sinners in the way they stay existence. Its a heart discomfort for our author notwithstanding it truly is the peoples decision. regrettably different huge church homes are money orientated and there is a favor out of greed to maintain the money and persons coming in. No repentance right here.

Remember this, many times we Christian pastors teach the people that they should avoid putting themselves in situations that may create certain feelings or thoughts within them. But never once have I known of a christian preacher teaching that a massage is a sin. Sometimes individuals have a misunderstanding about what they're being taught.
People know their own weaknesses and some cannot do or talk as others do without it being a problem for them later.

First of all, you are getting you information from a third party. It's hearsay. It's best to go the the pastor yourself and tell him you are certified under the state/provincial health laws, and not a Reiki occultist. The pastor may be confused.
If you are a Reiki occultist, its best you find another job.
