Will x-ray screening damage an x-box 360? Any other concerns?

You cant check it, so carrying it on is your only option. Checking electronics is against policy on every airline because if it gets damaged, the airline will not be liable. In small airports, you will be called back to the counter and you would have to remove the item from your bag. In large airports, they would just send it on and if its broken, then, its broken. If you do choose to check it, you would have to sign a waiver called a Limited Release, which means you understand that the airline will not be held accountable should it be damaged in anyway in transit.

So...carry it on and take it out at security just as you would a laptop, put it in a seperate bin and you'll be fine. The X-ray it goes through is not enough to damage anything, so it will be fine.

Sure. It just needs to go through the scanners. You can be safe, if you are worried about the hard drive becoming corrupted and mentioning to the security person that you would like the case holding the XBOX to be checked by hand.

Yes, but you will probably have to take it out of whatever bag/box in which you have it and put it in its own, separate container

Yes, they will scan it just like a laptop.
