be sure to connect all the wires corectly if you installed it yourself or take it to the shop

I have an 03 Jetta too. I haven't had the stereo problem, but my heated seats did go bad. I called VW about it and turns out they were recalled, so were my rear door locks. Head up on that. Call your local dealer and give them you VIN, yours may be recalled too.

unplug the negative(black)battery cable from the battery then wait 5 minutes then reconect it, it should re-set the radio

i hate it. any radio/cd/tape player iv had that broke .,stayed broken..i always had to buy new.sorry
