i am in desperate need of a new hairstyle... im 5'7" and weigh 110. i have an oval face.. open to suggestions.. (and if you can include pix tht would be great) (not to girly please) thnx :]

it would help to know how long and dense your hair is. so if you have fine hair go with a layered razor cut. lots of layers with shoulder length is in for 2007. you can wear it straight or curly, both are in. curls are soft and big or tiny and frizzy(a 70's trend revived) if your hair is thick, think about a perm that gives soft texture and volume. since you're slender you can carry off big hair. if you wear it straight, keep volume in mind so you don't look anorexic. oval faces can wear any hairstyle. think about bangs. they're hot now. heavy straight or the angle cut. haircolor should be a solid tone(no hilites til spring) add some warmth to the formula though. ask around for a stylist who cuts well with a razor. we are few and far between it seems.

i have an oval face and straight hair but i got nuthin, sry. i asked a question kinda like urs but got crazy answers like "get side bangs and part them in the middle" or "shaggy emo rocks" or w/e. i don't recommend bangs (for u or me) cuz oval faces want volume and its hard to do that thing where u lift ur hair if u dont' wanna mess up ur bangs
and if u have wavy hair ur part of the luckiest population in the world so be glad

Have you ever seen someone with the hairstyle that is shorter in the back and a little longer in the front? I would have that and cute side bangs. : )
