Congrats and I reccommend http://www.theknot.com is great for ideas, advice, and to look at other peoples weddings.and the http://www.weddingchannel.com is okay. Oh and http://www.brides.com is great for ideas and advice. And if you happen to be a hispanic or aa bride go to http://www.african-americanbrides.com its a website for women of color who are planning weddings. There are journals and advice there as well. Most wedding planning websites-- frankly, I would take their advice with a HUGE grain of salt because at the theknot.com and many others, the articles contain a TON of errors (they don't care if you make a fool of yourself-- they just want to make a buck and are slaves to their advertisers). There's really no substitute for having on hand a long-established etiquette and wedding planning BOOK, like Miss Manners on Weddings (the best).

I agree with etiquette gal. Peggy Post just came out with a new book called simply Etiquette. It's a great book, not only for wedding planning, but for life. Get a copy.
