I have dealt with divorce, the loss of my dad, the death of my second wife (after a period of horrible illness), clinical depression and alcoholism. There are lots of people out there - some professional, some just friendly and wise - who can help you get back on your feet. Take what you need from them and don't forget to say thank you.

But the one that really matters is yourself. You need to tell yourself that there is a future (because there is) and some day soon you won't feel anywhere near as bad as you do now (because you WILL feel better - perhaps sooner than you think).

You never know just what's round the next corner, and not all of it's bad.

Take care.

My world once "caved in" and I really did not think I would get through it....but I did. The reason why was simple.....friends and family support.

Has always made me realise that partners may come and go but friends and family never do - they are the most important thing.

every thing has opposite's ,ie,, happiness ,,,falling in love,,being happy,,,, feeling loved and wanted
so when you get older ,,life is just full of suprises as when your young

So far, it was when my uncle was diagnosed with kidney disease. He had to go back to america for better treatment. He's my god father too and we're really close. The outcome was that I gave him one of my own and he's doing really well.

Sorry it's not a dating/singles answer.
