For Judas' part in the betrayal plan, he would automatically receive Heaven as his reward wouldn't he? After all, God planned this and Jesus knew about the plan, so, why send Judas to 7734?
When people found this out, would they have said about Judas, "Beware of the beast man, for he is the devil's pawn!"

According to Dante, Judas is one of three that are in the deepest pit. To me that says that Judas is made a big sacrifice and was asked by Jesus to intentionally betray him.

Its as if Jesus said to Judas "look, we're all working on this incredible plan to help mankind. I don't trust the others to suck it up and do what's nessesary. Will you do it?" Judas, being actually the MOST loyal, did what was nessesary to facilitate the plan - he was the only diciple Jesus could trust to destroy himself in the name of the great plan.

I would like to think that Judas will be the first to be 'saved' according to Judeao Christian thinking.

Its like Judas was the most loyal and that's why he was picked to be the one to commit the ultimate sin - betrayal. Jesus couldn't trust any of the others to actually suck up personally feelings for the greater good.

Judas has to be seen as a betrayer even if his act was one of utmost loyalty - he has to be the ultimate @$$ even though he is playing a pre-defined role. So he goes ahead and jumps on the grenade knowing full well what the cost will be.

The act of betrayal is actually one of loyalty BECAUSE its certainly going to be protrayed as an act of betrayal.

Courage - being terrified, yet going ahead and doing it anyway.

Who says God oked Judas betrayal of his son? Perhaps God's son - Remember, Jesus was supposed to be the living earthly aspect of God himself. Seems to me that in this position on Earth, Jesus speaks for God as he is supposed to be the living, Earthly aspect OF God. Jesus doesn't need God's permission - he IS God.

According to Christian thought that is. Who are we to say? We're falable mortals remember? All we have is subjective viewpoints that ARE NOT omnipresent by any means.

That's my take anyway - just one of many ways of seeing things. An opinion.

yes, God did plan it. Judas goes to heaven because of God's role in it. In John it speaks of the Satan entering into Judas, but Judas and Jesus and the others being Jewish would not have looked at this as an evil thing. They would have looked at it as God doing this. So by this, Satan is a part of God, and therefore there is no Hell - it is all God. Therefore, no Hell = only Heaven. Judas went to Heaven.

Judas bible that was discovered lately proved that there was really a plan between Jesus and his most loyal student Judas. it's well known that Judas looked much like Jesus, so he was on the cross, and gave the dearest thing to god and his prophet, so he shouldn't be the symbol of betrayal but the great symbol of sacrifice for god. that's why it's said that he killed himself. the real demon is Paul who made Jesus a god.

God teaches us all His Laws and statures that we may be blessed in walking in the ways of our Lord, He has our best interest at Heart. We have free choices,Judas made His Choice and Jesus knew what choice He was going to make before He made it.
Don't think Judas can get off that easy for what he did do you?
I believe that he repented, and Jesus forgave him,to be honest.
But Judas will not recieve the full blessings as has the others who followed Jesus at that time.
Darn this was a good question.

Judas used his free will to betray Jesus, and Jesus knew it before Judas did it, because Jesus was God in the flesh, and God knows everything that happens, past, present, and future.

Judas did not go to Heaven.

God did not tell Judas it was okay to sin.

Who says Judas goes to Heaven? Where does it say God "okayed" Judas to betray His son? God ALLOWED Jesus to be betrayed in order that scripture would be fulfilled that said He would die for the sins of men and Judas, exercising his own free will, became the instrument of that betrayal. Jesus Himself said that one of his disciples was a devil (John 6:70). Devils do not go to Heaven. In fact, Jesus said (in Mat 26:24,) "The Son of Man goes AS IT IS WRITTEN OF HIM, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born." For Jesus to say "woe to that man" does not indicate he was favored to go to Heaven.

Wether Judas goes to Heaven or not isn't based on if he was part of God's plan because we're -all- part of it in some way. The -only- thing that determins if you go to Heaven is wether you accept Jesus to live in you as your savor, so it depends wether or not Judas did that.

Acts 1: 25 "That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place". KJV Judas went to Hell because he didn't believe Jesus was the son of God and wasn't saved. Judas allowed Satan to enter his heart and his greed caused him to betray Jesus.

No, Judas did not go to heaven, as the other apostles had the hope of. He betrayed Jesus, and therefore God. Judas made the choice for himself, and he had no fore knowledge. Neither did he go to a place of fiery torment, but rather his punishment was eternal death...death with no hope of resurrection.
