As far as you and I are concerned, there is no New Heavens. There is a New Jerusalem that will descend from Heaven, but there is no New Heaven. It is so that God, as Three Persons in the Blessed Trinity is always in Heaven. So, we read about creation in Genesis, that God created the Heavens, and the earth. This is in the very first few lines of the Holy bible. Heavens here means the Spiritual World. There was no Evil in the heavens, until Lucifer and his angels rebelled, and were cast out. Jesus brought the Good News that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand when he returned to the Temple after fasting in the desert. Thus, heaven was present in the hearts and minds of the suffering Jews at that time. Thus hell and heaven existed in those days. We read in Revelations that a woman who stands with her feet on the moon, will be with child, and a dragon would chase her to devour the baby when it is born. God protects this woman. This shows that hell and heaven would continue to unfold its drama even when the Blessed Elect draw towards the end of times. The Holy Bible ends by saying, 'I am coming soon. The Spirit and the Bride call to come......" and we are not to add any further or take away any content from the book, Amen. Therefore, we find mankind and creatures separated into the group of saints in spotless white as lambs, and the sinners who are thrown into the lake of fire. The drams of life ends with Good and Evil coexistent, just as day and night coexist, for one cannot be without the other. I guess, I am sorry, but you may not have realized that one has to suffer going through hell to get to heaven.

Well, I think the answer is He didn't. He knew what would happen. The thing is, with our limited vision, we're not able to see the whole picture...but God didn't want a bunch of puppets who would just do what He said out of fear and things...He wanted us to have our own choices and own free will...that's a great gift you know? Well, Adam had the opportunity to choose good but he chose selfishness and evil and introduced that to the world. Well...the thing is "the devil" created himself by rebelling against God eons before...so when Adam opened things up to sin, the devil had an opportunity to work. You can even see evidence of the devil asking God for permission to mess with Job. The thing is, we are selfish beings and we can't imagine that this whole thing isn't just about us - but about the message sent and about the whole of man being redeemed. It's pretty dang tragic what Adam did and some price has to be paid for that...people can't exercise free will without choices... Anyway - I think that it's unfortunate that the enemy is what he is...but God is not oblivious. He stands before us hoping that we will choose life and good...but He can't force that - He didn't even force Adam to make the right choice. Life is just a drop in the bucket compared to eternity - so what we suffer in this life is "not worthy to be compared to the glory that will be revealed when Christ comes back" according to the Bible...you have to see the big picture

Actually,Satan's real name was Lucifer the Light Bearer. He was an archangel. But when God broke the news that Jesus was to be his successor, that just upset him because he thought HE was to be second to God. So he led a rebellion against God,and was punished for doing so. Lucifer was cast out of Heaven and so were his followers.Ever since then Satan has been trying to get his revenge on God.

Satan was actually an angel, but he betrayed God. God gives everyone the freedom of choice, that's why people can believe in Him if they want to or not. And Satan made that choice of betraying him. =/

Satan doesn't exist, and as such, no one created him, including any higher powers. Does that answer your question?
