Go to the courthouse and pay a fee to get a copy of your records- that may work.

Mug shots generally aren't copied or available online. If you were simply arrested for a minor violation then that picture is a part of your permanent file at the police department and doesn't go anywhere else. If you were arrested and lodged in a county or state institution your picture may be found on their website. Just do a search for that particular institution.

Get arrested again and you will find the first picture while they are taking the second one.
It is one of a kind and the legal system doesn't let go of one of a kind pictures. . . it becomes a part of a permanent file.
As some of the other answers tell you,you can get a COPY but the original stays with the legal system.

Sorry

Some counties that have arrest/ judicial records online, will usually publish the mug shot taken. But, if your county does not do that on their website, you can pay to get your police report & arrest record at the jail where you were incarcerated.

I suppose you could do an FOIA (freedom of information act request) perhaps (most states have a variant of the Fed FOIA) through your state and get a copy of it. You arent going to get the original or all copies removed from records though if thats what you are after.. not gonna happen.. you are in the system and yer gonna stay there... Innocent guilty or otherwise...
