work study is a grant which you must work for, the good thing about that it's that the director in charge of work study gives you choices of where you would like to work if you don't have one. And student loans you need to pay back some time. I f you sure enough qualify for financial aid then you qualify for work studies which is great becase with it the working hours are flexible and go the way you want them and by the way they fit your class schedule. I would recoment work studies rather then the loans although you have to work for it, but if you think about it it's hard to find a part time job that goes with your schedule. ( the pay it's minimum wage and the hours per week are limited the director assigns you a limit per week.)

The great thing about any work study program is that the money will be helpful. With work study the hours fit around you classes, and many places you con work as many hours as you like. The down side to working many hours is the FAFSA people will cut the money they give you. The other downside to work study is it takes time away from studying for you classes. If you have to work work study is great, eventhough it doesn't pay a lot.
