Why is Judaism peciluar to only one people? Is it true that it is claimed in Torah
that Jews are privillged and superior over other nations and other nations are in position to work for Jews.If so,what is the likely portion of Jews who belive those?

I am asking this question with not any hostile feelings but just for curiosity.

You people don't know anything, some you are simply spewing complete ignorance of this subject, not to mention hate and jealousy (excluding Edd who asked and seems sincerely interested in learning the truth).

This question has been asked many times on this site, just search for Zionism and Judaism and read some of the answers.

(And by the way, Judaism and Zionism are not the same things, and Judaism is not elitist - In Judaism there is no hell, and everyone has a portion in the world to come, Jews and Non-Jews alike). Go check your facts.

Interestingly, and in contrast to all the answers given so far, which are based on lack of knowledge and hostility--Judaism holds that salvation is possible for all, Jew and gentile alike.

There are seven Noahide commandments, which the Jewish religion understands to be binding on non-Jews. When a non-Jew observes these precepts, he becomes eligible for salvation.

Jewish people, on the other hand, have 613 commandments that they are required to obey.

You asked about Zionism, too. Zionism is the expression of the Jewish nationalism. The activity involved in assuring that the Jewish People have a land of their own once again. The Muslims have 60 countries, while the Jews have one tiny country, and their Islamic neighbors wish to take that away from them too.

The reason that it is peculiar to only one people is because of its strict eliteism. Christianity, Judaism and Islam all claim to be superior and all other religions to be inferior, thus it would be fair to say that all jews believe this. Zionism is more a political movent than a religious one. Its aims are for an in independant state-Israel

Good question. In the past before Jesus came to the earth, only Jews were going to heaven. They were and still are Gods chosen people. The reason that Jesus came to earth was to save ALL mankind, thus refuting any beliefs the Jews have today. A real Jew does believe this, because Jews do not believe in Jesus unless they are a messianic Jew. Messianic Jews believe in Jesus. Jews only use one side of the bible and that's the old testament, what they call the Torah is the book of laws and such that God gave moses in the old testament. I don't know anything about Zionism, but if you wish to know more, google it.
