Yes, it's normal for the whites of a dog's eyes to look blood shot.
More so if they are exersizing or excited.

Best foods for dogs:
Look into Wellness, Innova, California Natural, Canidae, and Artemis. All are great, all have websites.
Never feed Iams, Purina, or Science Diet. Read the food label. If it contains corn, wheat, beef or chicken, skip it.

Rawhide is like letting a little kid swallow bubble gum. Not life threatening, but not the best thing either. For puppies, it might prevent them tearing up expensive furniture and shoes, but consider plastic and rubber toys. If it's large enough so that the dog can't swallow it (or choke) it's better for their teeth and digestion.
Kong is great. They can be filled with food for added interest.

Alaskan Huskies are NOT sibe/mal mixes. However they are mutts. The term "Alaskan Husky" is used to describe a sled dog of mixed lineage for various reasons. So say maybe a Siberian Husky/Border Collie/Hound/Canadian Eskimo. Therefore any photo I show you can and likely will look completely different than another you may see. These dogs are bred to improve their sled-pulling abilities, not for a specific look

Talk with your vet ASAP; this is not a normal condition - for any animal. He/she can also recommend possible brands of dog food for you to try. As for the rawhide, just remember that most rawhide products include formaldehyde as an ingredient. There are many other toys - including chew toys - which will entertain him, but his favorite toy will be YOU. Enjoy!
