If he was going anywhere else than Brazil I would say that it's not stupid. But since he's going to that country, it's probably kind of stupid unless you don't mind that he's having sex with other girls.

From the timeline, your relationship might not last as a full-on relationship past the movement, but that might also keep him in touch longer when he moves...
If you both have feelings, let them come out and enjoy the time together...
