Probably Rembrant or Pearl Drops. The problem with whitening toothpastes (according to my friend who is a dental student) is that they aren't really in your mouth and on your teeth long enough to make a noticible difference. You might want to try the whitening strips but personally you are better off getting them professionally whitened rather than spending $$ on toothpaste/products and not even seeing the difference you want to! You can get a whole whitening set-up for around $250-300 and you can keep buying refill kits (but you'll only need to buy the lits about once every 3-4 years, depending on how often you whiten).
Good luck!

According to Consumer Reports, the best whitening toothpaste on the market happens to be the cheapest too. Its Ultra Bright Extreme Whitening and I buy it at Wal Mart for $0.97 a tube and it works really well. I've tried other, much more expensive brands and it works better than any of them. And when I read the report in CR, it only added to my confidence in the product. I also use an Crest Spin toothbrush and I like the results I get from that, too.

I have found a combination of whitening tooth paste and electric tooth brush, with a whitening head to be the best method to whiten your teeth without bleaching them. I use an Oral B Braun toothbrush with colgate total whitening, and I have been for about 2 months now, and the results can be seen.

The only way to whiten your teeth is to have it done properly by your dentist. Toothpastes don't contain enough peroxide to whiten them. Get trays (moulds of your teeth) made to fit and bleach prescribed by your dentist - they will prescribe the correct strengh for you and your teeth. DONT use ready made trays as they won't fit your teeth specifically and the bleach can damage your gums. Once you have your trays you can top up with bleach every now and again to keep them white and bright!

My mom's a dental assistant and she told me the best way to get them white is to go to the dentist and ask for " ultra bright", it's some leaser pro secure...my mom says it really a light though....it's not really a leaser in other words. She also said that their really isn't a good toothpaste to get them white. To keep them white, the best would be Colgate whitening.

Mix 2 tablespoons full of Hydrogen Peroxide with 2 table spoonsfull of Baking Soda. Mix well and apply to your teeth for approx 20 minutes, rinse away. Don't swallow the mixture. You will have film star teeth that will gleam and fetch a smile to your face.

Good old fashioned Pearl Drops. There was also a tooth powder (you just wet the brush and used it like paste) called something like Eucrymol Smokers Tooth Powder, but I haven't seen it for sale for years. Could shift Staines from Surrey!
