absolutely not!! you are right. each faith has it's own interpretation and they all believe there's to be the right one or the only one. while the bible does tell us to "spread the word"so to speak, i don't think that interprets to"shove your views down their throats"

no

The Bible is true.

Take it for what it is. There is only one God, One Jesus one Truth. I don't believe in following religion, but follow God, and his ways are in the bible.

Now saying that, Some churches follow more of what the bible really says more than others. While some pick and choose and follow men rather than God. Find the Church that is true to the bible. But remember. Still follow the words of God rather than man.

Watch out for funny interpretations. Just because a church is right on some things doesn't mean they are right in all. Be committed to God, and his true word. Not church or religion. Religion. Some just seems man made. But God is real and His words are truely in the bible. His ways sure gets corrupted by men. Oh, how we need Jesus.

When people try to make others agree with a particular interpretation of a piece of literature, they commit the confirmation bias and exploit uncertainty: The more people who agree with me, the more certain I can be that I am correct and that those who don't agree are wrong. Such people are obsessed with being correct and "correcting" everyone else.

I don't want to waste my time making people interpret a book the way I do. It's not my responsibility, and I don't care how they interpret it. What matters to me is the consequences of our actions.

I think its people's responsibiltiy to interperet the bible as they do, but to do so consistantly.

You can't say the bible is word-for-word true, then add "Well, they don't really mean the earth was made in 7 days...more like 7 God-days" or "being gay is wrong, but the no bacon part doesn't count"

So, if you think its word for word true then stick to it (and in my opinion, look like an idiot). If you find it more of a guideline, then don't claim anything as fact. If you find it as I do...a collection of history, myth, and legend, then you're probably right, intelligent, and sexy as well :)

Nit-pick? no... I realize that everyone sees it differently in one way or another, but if Im asked why I believe the way I do, I'll show them why.

It is your responsibility to seek God. Go to Him. Go to His Word. Leave this site! This is a dangerous place, designed to confuse, be afraid of it if you are not here with God.
