I have an idea you may want to research or speak to your doctor about. Your occupation or hobbies may be causing you to develop thoracic outlet syndrome which is an impingement or compression of the nerves and blood vessels in the arm. Typical
symptoms are numbness tingling and weakness. Tingling at night in the hands may be caused by carpal tunnel syndrome or other impingement type problems. The best thing that you can do is see your doctor or chiropractor for propper diagnosis and treatment to free up the compressed tissue. For now try not to sleep with your hands curled up, make sure they are in a neutral position and are not laying on your belly or above your head as this can encourage the blood to drain causing tingling. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I have dealt with this pain for a few years now. I was diagnosed with Tendinitis. The reason it bothers us so much at night is because people tend to sleep with their wrists curled, and there isn't room in there for swelling. Try sleeping with a wrist brace that has a plate in it to keep your wrist straight. It worked miracles for me. Also Naproxin Sodium (Aleve) will help with the pain and
swelling.

You may have a pinched nerve in your neck. When you lay down at night, the weight of your body puts more pressure on the nerve. I would talk to your doc. An MRI or CT scan can diagnose this if it's present.

I am telling you from my own experience...Get to the Dr. It sounds like this related to several other possibilities including Diabetes or Neuropathy. Look up these symptoms on MedMD and you will see how serious this could be. Good luck to you.

It could be a pinched nerve, maybe between two vertbrae. I had a similar affliction and a chiroprator was able to help.
